While Amy Winehouse might not like the idea of being immortalized in wax, her parents seem to be lingering to whatever last glimpse of a sane daughter they can get.
When I saw the wax figure I was really disappointed with the wax sculptors at the world famous Madame Tussauds in London for not making it quite accurate. In the wax statuette Winehouse holds a mike. I think it should be replaced by a cigarette, bottle of booze or crackpipe. The wax figure took four and a half months to make and was sculpted from photographs as Winehouse was "unable" to pose for it.
Is this the Amy Winehouse we all know? I don't think so. What other things did the Madame Tussauds peeps leave out of the wax figure?

The last thing you said here "Charley" - is the truest. Its not her parents fault. Heck, her father drove her to the hospital and to rehab. Amy has to want to help herself - for real. But - as long as the idiots here keep throwing Grammys at her (for what I agree, is a mediocre album - I find Winehouse the personality far more intriguing than the performer) - she'll think she can do no wrong.
