The International Tweexcore Underground by Los Campesinos! Take it away, kids:
My current musical obsession: Malcolm Middleton, espescially the song Fight Like the Night off his most recent album, this year's A Brighter Beat (on Full Time Hobby records).
It's a fantastic indie rock duet with the lovely Jenny Reeve with some fantastic lyrics ("Crawl into this rut with me and hold my chin up") and great keyboard and guitar lines.
I cannot stop listening to it.
Alright, alright, you are all right. The Hold Steady are pretty damn good fun. From my investigations so far Chips Ahoy! and Most People are DJs are my favourites. Hit up The Hype Machine for Lots Of Mp3s. They've been blogged Rather a Bit. I was going to find the mp3 that Pitchfork themselves posted a while ago but I can't get on their site at the moment.

I caved too. At first, I was put off by the Springsteen-like references to their sound (not a big fan of bruce), but this is great music....
