I had a nice little Mog mail chat with the Mog Father, David Hyman, where he responded to a comment I made, saying he was surprised about the band Phish's (Phishes? Phishs?) major influence in my musical journey. If you haven't payed attention to Channel Contrabandwidth, I occasionally slip in a reference to my hippie-esque days, and even once in a while I will post a Phish tune or cover. Perhaps it's the nature of people who are instinctual repelled by Jam Bands to fl... MORE
Grrr. That's what I have to say. Grrr. How was the band? They were awesome. Incredible. If you've ever seen them then you know the power, emotion and energy they can put into a show, and last night was no exception. From the opening sounds to the final moments (ending with "The Only Time We Were Alone," my pick for Best Closing Song Ever) they were flawless. The problem? The audience. They played to a packed crowd of nearly awestruck enthusiasts, and that was fin... MORE
Whoo hoo! I just bought my tickets for the Explosions in the Sky show here in beautiful Charleston, SC! Music Farm watch out for MM&M 2008! (Confused, just ask Groon)
Hey folks,
Enjoy this podcast interview with our pals from Explosions in the Sky.
They were staying at the Amsterdam Hilton because that's the hotel where John and Yoko did their "Bed in for Peace."
Good enough reason for me.

woo hoo! So, we get very few bands of worth here in Charleston, being pretty much out of the way of any major city or venue. That being said, I'm pretty freakin' stoked these guys are coming right here to my front door, so to speak. I saw them a year ago and it was just about the most amazing thing I ever saw. Don't believe me? THIS is my review of that show last year. I can't wait, and I'm issuing a challenge to all stateside MOGgers to make the trip. dammit. Th... MORE
No drugs are needed to see the visuals and meanings this song gives me. Will you place Your Hand in Mine and see where this song brings us?
Okay so i'm one of those people who love to turn my ipod on and slip my headphones on and take a nice nap. The first cd i ever bought was completely ridiculous. No seriously completley hands down ridiculous. It was the sounds of dolphins, and No that is not a twerky upbeat indy band , it's exactly what it sounds like. Well i'm going to start my list off with that at number one beacause it was a three minute one track cd with dolphins chattering to eachother. When i would p... MORE
There are three songs in trailer.
The second song is Your Hand In Mine by EITS. The third song is The Sound of Settling by DCFC. But i'd like to know what is the opening song? It is so cool.
Shopgirl - Trailer World Premiere
Posted Jul 07, 2005 Based on Steve Martin's bestselling novella, Shopgirl, is a funny and poignant story of love in the modern age.
My son has athletics club once a week. It's important that you know why I was actually out of the house for an extended period of time, since it happens so infrequently. I stay there with him, just in case he needs me, because he isn't used to being out on his own yet; four years of dealing with Asperger's has us both a bit cautious. I was sat in the bleachers listening to my ipod, and he was down on the track, practicing hurdles with the other kids. It's a brand new t... MORE
