As a huge Prince supporter, I do not think the world realizes his consciousness as a person of brown descent. Although he has appeal across all racial lines, Prince still knows he is a person of African descent. Although he has been catapulted into the stratosphere as a genius, musical prodigy he still knows that some people may look at him and say some mean things just because of his race and not because of his art.

Some artists slide their activism in their work or they quietly do things on the side that we are not aware about.
I was thinking about Prince today in light of all the racism that has exploded this week on the web in certain communities.
Just know we are all human and we need to respect each other for our differences. That is really the point of this song. But, if we cannot do that we will never progress.

I posted about his Coachella performance & posted a vid of the song Creep here & I never heard a thing about it, although the vid was removed on Youtube. I think you're being way too paranoid about it though, especially if you bought the song, then you have no worries.
