I seem to remember reading in some Pink Floyd-related book that Seamus was actually voted by fans as one of the worst PF songs ever, if not the worst (I think "Dogs of War" might have won that not so coveted title, actually).  I don't understand that, 'cause I've always liked Seamus, personally.

brain: yeah basically. on that they call it "Mademosiselle Nobs" (Nobs was the dogs name i believe) and it's longer and sounds a bit different, but it's the same difference.

chuck: really? that's quite suprising. everytime i listen to this i love the little blues melody and feel of it. "Dogs of War" is much worse than this (as is a lot of the stuff on the last two Floyd albums).

I've got Live at Pompeii!  How can the fans consider this for a worst song?!  The sudio songs from Ummagumma would be my considerations.

Live at Pompeii is definitely some awesome stuff, as is this song. Ummagumma is more of an album for really hardcore fans (not challenging your fandom or anything lol), and even for some of them it's hard to get into (myself included). I don't think it's bad stuff, though.
