Aaight people, I work for a company that publishes books for teachers (Heinemann) and one of the biggest conferences that we exhibit at is this weekend (NCTE, National Council of Teachers of English). Though I am but a lowly Marketing Assistant, I am going to be working at this conference.
Here's the deal. It's at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee, where, rumor has it, they play country-western music 24/7 EVERYWHERE, including the parking lot.
I am making a playlist specifically for this trip, which is to contain NO COUNTRY music (except perhaps for some Johnny Cash), so that I may endure this trip. It has a lot of hip hop so far. Other than Nashville Pussy and "Tennessee" by Arrested Development, what are some other songs that are either about the city/state, or would help me through my trip?
