DanielleI must admit that I wasn't all that terribly interested in her musical taste. It's not that I didn't like it, rather that I had already engrossed myself in punk and ska music and needed a break from it. Unfortunately for me, that was all she listened to. Back home today we stopped by Best Buy and Michael bought two actual, real live, CDs. It has been so long since I bought an actual CD – I stick to downloads for instant gratification and because I don’t like paying for filler songs. AFI is a punk/rock band from Ukiah, California, formed in 1991 by Davey Havok (vocals), Mark Stopholese (guitar), Vic Chalker (bass) and Adam Carson (drums). Vic was quickly replaced by Geoff Kresge. Their original sound was typical of their East Bay surroundings: hardcore punk.
