Sound on this March 1968 outtake is slightly hotter with more clarity I think, than the mix I purchased on Box of Pearls before finding this.

Here's another track from the album One Night With Janis. This is not your mother's amazing grace! This song goes through some incredible changes in its 11 and a half minutes. Big Brother is playing like there's no tomorrow -- this was back when you got some value for your live entertainment dollar!

Here's a track from One Night With Janis, an album I downloaded recently from eMusic, but which for some reason has disappeared off their site. It's a live album, seemingly recorded sometime before Cheap Thrills. Good God, this band is on fire! Listen to Janis' backing vocals - she sounds like an alleycat on fire! They sure weren't shy about talking to their audience and whipping up a frenzy.
