Bob Mould

I'm sure you know that Bob Mould once fronted Husker Du and later Sugar. Husker Du recorded one of the great epic albums of all time, Zen Arcade. Anyway, Mould is back with a new solo album, District Line, due Feb. 2 on Anti-, the label that Tom Waits and Nick Cave and my fave singer/songwriter Jolie Holland all record for, and this preview suggests that the album is gonna be a winner.

The legendary frontman for Husker Du and Sugar, Bob Mould kicks off a tour of North America on March 5th. This time he will be promoting his new album District Line, instead of the live DVD "Circle of Friends" which was the focus of his last tour. District Line features Fugazi's Brendan Canty on drums, but I'm not sure if Canty will join Mould on the tour or not. Ok, so ive been quiet for a while and this is fairly old news, but i popped along to the Roundhouse to see Bob Mould preview new tracks from his upcoming album 'District line' (Feb 11th release?).
