Britney Spears reportedly triggered a minor traffic accident on a freeway in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley on Saturday evening(April 12), but no one was injured and no tickets issued, a California Highway Patrol official said.

Britney is back. The recovering pop-star made a positive return to television last night on an episode of the CBS sitcom, How I Met Your Mother. She does a great job of playing a ditzy doctor's receptionist. The show, which also stars Doogie Howser, M.D. and the "at band camp" girl, is actually pretty funny.... MORE

Adnan Ghalib this week was picking up Britney Spears freebies … at Oscar events no less.

We're going to make this one short and sweet. Britney Spears was released from the UCLA Medical Center's psych ward on yesterday Wednesday, after a little less than a week of treatment. Instead of heading home to avoid the media and paparazzi, Spears checked into the Beverly Hills Hotel with her boyfriend and paparazzi Adnan Ghalib, proving more so than not that she is still in dire need of some medical attention.

Hubert Essakow's a choreographer with a plan to turn Britney Spears' much publicized life into a 14-minute dance production. The dance, entitled "Meltdown", hits all the major recent events, including the infamous "head shaving" incident.

Britney is getting what she asks for in the lead single, "Gimmie More" off her latest album Blackout: More time in the UCLA Medical Center's psych ward she was forced to admit to last Thursday for mental evaluation. Spears, whose 3 day stint was to end on Sunday, will now stay another two weeks, thanks to a section in state law that allows patients to be kept for medical treatment if they are found to be gravely disabled or a danger to themselves or others.

If you haven't heard the news on CNN, the judicial system has found Britney Spears mental and ordered her on a psychiatric hold for the next three days, which possibly might be extended to 14 days. Britney Spears was removed from her home by police and rushed to a hospital around 1am pacific Thursday morning, according to the LA Times. Brit's police escort included a dozen motorcycles, two police cruisers, and two helicopters, the Times reported.
As of this moment nobody is sure why she's in the hospital but we do know the call was placed by her psychiatrist. At this point it's anyones gues as to what's happened now.
