I always come back to this song when I pick up my guitar. It's simple, I love Springsteen's delivery. Shit, Nebraska is a fine fine album.
And I always think of the story which Andy, the drummer for my former band Nebraska Girl, told about sleeping with this album under his pillow when he was a kid.

Recently Bob Dylan made comments about how the quality of music has gone to shit over the past few years. Not necessarily the songwriting, but how it is actually recorded.
