I have to say, I love it when my favorite bands come down to South Florida, but even better, when they headline the show. After a handful of years, Chevelle finally headlined, makiing my sunday night real special. They no longer open with Family System, which i thought was set for life because of the song's aggressive nature and way of getting the crowd riled up. But change is good, and hearing and watching them play their new stuff from Vena Sera is great! They truly bring... MORE
This week, as my "top artists" would suggest, I've been diggin' me some Chevelle. I hadn't been listening to it as much because...something else came out that same day, although I can't for the life of me remember what it was, that absorbed me. I thought it was Year Zero (KILLER ALBUM, btw), but I just checked on Amazon and Year Zero came out two weeks later. I guess it's possible that I bought them the same day... maybe I was delayed on picking up Vena Sera. (I usuall... MORE
I'm new to MOG but I'm a huge music fan. It's been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I like pretty much all music at certain times. I'm pretty sure my life would end if I couldn't listen to it, yes that is a tad over the edge but it's probably true. I haven't checked everything on this site yet but from what I've seen it seems really cool. I'm going to a concert this weekend. Being in South Dakota I haven't had the chance to see many yet. Chevelle is the... MORE
So, this past Friday I went to my second Jet concert and this time it was much better than the last. Last time, there was this girl there who danced like a whore and she had no forehead and she was there to see Guster anyway. But this time, it was amazing, I went to Memphis, Tennessee, which is about a 5 and half hour drive from where I live, and then we stood to wait for the concert for about 2 hours. But then it was amazing. Jet was phenomenal. Even better than on the al... MORE
...and it's raining. No, it's RAINING!! One of the worst winters I've seen in a long time for the west coast. And so, Saturday afternoon brings the challenges of what to do, since heading out into the garden didn't make today's list. So here I am writing in my MOG and listening to random songs from my collection and trying to explain that as the source of the wierdness you see in my "most recently listened to" list. Boy has gone go-karting for the day in the rain with ... MORE

So... some crazy stuff has been going on in the World-O-Matt lately, needed to get some frustrations out and this song just seemed to help... enjoy:
