I was at a furniture store downtown a couple of weeks ago and heard an awesome cover of Madonna's "Crazy For You." I wondered who it was and did some research and I'm pretty sure it's Groove Armada with The Rakes' frontman, Alan Donohue. Give it a listen: Pretty good, no?

Groove Armada's Lovebox festival hit Dublin over the weekend. The one day event also featured Toots and the Maytals, Super Furry Animals, The Rapture, and a whole gaggle of DJs. Of course, the day belonged to Groove Armada in more ways than one. They blew the crowd away. So much so, I didn't get one half-decent photo of them. Oh well. Faster is officially the new fast, (despite my earlier shout-out for slow ). How do I know this? Because now even badminton is an extreme speed sport.
