Gwen Stefani premiered a new video today for "Early Winter" off of her Sweet Escape album. Her look in the vid is very similar to Kylie Minogue's vampy siren look in her new video for "2 Hearts." I'm digging both! Stefani just finished up her Sweet Escape Tour on the west coast with Sean Kingston. I wonder what she will focus her creative energies on next. L.A.M.B.? Back to the studio? Or just some quality family time with Kingston? Hopefully a whole lotta... MORE
Believe it or not, Gwen is a smart gal. She balances being a superstar musician, a super mom, a stylish fashion line and makes it look easy. Tonight, the Love. Angel. Music. Baby mama is playing a concert in San Diego (recently ravaged by wildfires that caused numerous event cancellations) that will raise funds for the victims of the devastation. The proceeds from tonight's concert will go right back into the community via The San Diego Foundation's After-the-Fires Fund... MORE
A new Gwen Stefani video aired on MTV this week and we are psyched to see MTV putting a Marley on their TRL. Ahh, the days of the Backstreet Boys and 'NSYNC seem so far away.
The new Stefani video is a remix of "Now That You Got It" off her latest solo album Sweet Escape. It features Damian JR. Gong Marley who adds a pop-reggae vibe to the number.
Maxis Communications, which is sponsoring Stefani's Asia performances stated will abide by the local code of ethics while on their turf.
"Gwen Stefani has confirmed that her concert will not feature any revealing costumes. She will abide by the Malaysian authorities' guidelines ... MORE
I’m writing this from Saudi Arabia. Trust me when I say you don’t know how liberal and rich with activity your daily life is – no matter where you’re living. Especially if you’re a woman. But that has nothing to do with this post, just an observation. In today’s Arab News is the following item: Malaysia should stop the Kuala Lumpur leg of Gwen Stefani’s upcoming Asian tour because of her indecent dressing and obscenity, a Muslim students’ group said yesterday. The 10,0... MORE

Verizon Wireless has abruptly pulled out as the presenting sponsor on Gwen Stefani’s current Sweet Escape tour due to an incident involving the trek’s opening act, Akon. Last month, during a concert in Trinidad, Akon grinded and practically sexually assulted a 15-year-old fan. When footage of the onstage dance found its way online, Verizon got cold feet and severed all ties with Stefani's current tour. Akon’s show in Trinidad was unrelated to and not part of the Sweet Es... MORE
I was in the shower this morning, when I realized that James Brown covering "Hollaback Girl" would be.... interesting, to say the least.
Any other ideas for weird covers?
Just a quick and heartfelt thank you to Gwen Stefani for NOT stopping in Ohio on her upcoming trek across North America. http://www.pollstar.com/tour/searchall.pl?By=Artist&Content=GWESTE&Key=Y I am barely recovered from the musical trauma I suffered many years ago when I most unwisely chose to accompany a girlfriend to the No Doubt, Bush, Goo Goo Dolls show that she had won tickets for from a local radio station...it has seriously scarred me. In hindsight, I should h... MORE
Snowball was diffently awesome. They so played "London Bridge" and "Fergilicous".Another one that I haven't hear since.. ever was "Holla Back Girl". A girl power song that got my booty rockin. Awwhwhwh. That was my first dance since middle school. But middle school dances don't really count. So I guess that was my first dance.I don't get out much.I have no life.Well.. Marching Band pwns me. BTW: I know Drew Carey, Bill Engval, and Denzel Washington were in their high sc... MORE
i actually kinda dig this song... back in '04 - when the stefani solo hype-machine steam-rolled music media - i'd sorta hoped she'd accomplish two thing with her solo outing: (1) it would be an all uptempo record w/ no whiny 'just a girl' / 'underneath it all' type no doubt tracks - building off of 'hella good' and 'it's my life.' (2) that she'd do a little 'girl-rap' à la debbie-harry in 'rapture.' i think the verses of 'yummy' come close to 'rapture' - not in terms ... MORE
I really do like Gwen Stefani's song "Cool." It reminds me of someone, and the sentiment behind it is nice. The strange 80s-ness of it doesn't hurt, either. Therefore, when I saw a copy of "Love Angel Music Baby" in a used music store I decided to buy it. And I'm so glad I did. Gwen Stefani does not try to be artistically important here, nor does she pretend that she has created something of great intellectual and emotional depth. She revels in her shallow lyrics, rips nea... MORE
