Jeez, its been over three years now.. let it go. A U.S. appeals court will decide if the $550,000 fine given to CBS for Janet exposing her chocolatey goodness to the world at 2004's Super Bowl broadcast was fair. CBS thinks they're in the clear because the act was either an accident, or an isolated incident betweeen Jackson and Justin Timberlake. I won't lie, as soon as I noticed the title of Janet's new single was "Rock With U", I knew I wouldn't like it. I instantly thought back to Michael's old song by the same name. Maybe you guys will take a liking to it more than I did. Janet's riding high at the moment due to her new album being #1 on the charts.

'Feedback' is the first single from Janet's new Def Jam album Discipline. Although I really like the song, the video is lacking a little. The idea they TRIED to pull off would have been cool if they were willing to put some real special effects dollars behind it. With the state of the recording industry today I can unerstand why they didn't. Maybe a simpler idea will do better next time around.

As expected, Janet Jackson has left Virgin Records after a less than impressive stint over the last 3 years. Both 2004's Damita Joe and 2006's 20 Y.O failed to make much of a splash with fans. Janet Jackson is being sued for 120 Million dollars by a man claiming her bodyguards choked him when he tried to pass her a note in the club. Janet hoped to stop the court procedings, but Justice Rolando Acosta decided the assault suit should move forward.
