I know the "Nas changing his album title" discussion died down a good three weeks ago, this was a damned good interview with Killer Mike regarding the subject. Mike seems to think Nas had a grand opportunity to make an event by standing up to Def Jam & Universal Music Group by refusing to alter his title. The Good: You can't listen to albums like this and say "hip hop is dead" with a straight face.
The Bad: While the content and the messages are here, Mike's lyricism & flow are lacking a little. The 2nd half of the album lags a bit.

Between the new albums from Nas and Killer Mike, we can now put all that "Hip Hop Is Dead" talk to rest. Killer Mike's album "I Pledge Alliegiance To The Grind Pt.2" is just as great as everyone predicted it would be, and is absolutely a MUST hear. Killer Mike isn't one of my favorite rappers just because he makes good music. Killer Mike is a favorite of mine because he's shown that he's one of the most intelligent artists in hip hop music. Just by hearing him speak in interviews, you can tell that he truly "gets it".
