I am in a black hole of creativity tonight. I have posts that I need to write, research and publish. But I don't see it happening. Not right now. When I first came to MOG, I saw it as an outlet for my thoughts and tastes in music. Eventually it grew into something more. If I* had a dime for every time I had to correct someone in college and inform them that "Plateau" or "Oh Me" or "Lake Of Fire" wasn't a Nirvana song, but a Meat Puppets song, I'd be less broke, let's say. Jameson reminded me of the Meat Puppets with his post yesterday, and this song is perfectly summarizing my Monday mood. Climbing out of bed this morning was certainly an uphill battle, and the clutter on the table (or desk in my case) is getting out of hand for sure. I admit Curt Kirkwood's voice can be grating at first, but for me it is a good type of inharmoniousness.
