Yesterday, I booked my first one-way ticket ever. On September 11th, I'm leaving Greece forever (OK, that's a bit melodramatic, let's say that I won't be living here anymore). On September 11th, a plane will be taking me far away from the memories of the people who care if I live or die. I will be chasing a starlight in the UK. 2 years ago, if someone told me that I would be doing that, I'd have laughed and then sighed. Thing is, MOG was the catalyst. The warm-hearted, ... MORE
Driving to work, I was tired and feeling blah. Almost to the parking lot, I get a rock chip in my new car's windshield...right in front of my face. Great. Entering work there's a 20 page fax from my boss waiting for me, incomplete with vague instructions; a new task I need to do immediately, if not sooner. Should only take hours and hours; I can just work on it between my other myriad tasks...no lunches for me for a week or so, I'm guessing. One employee goes home sic... MORE
Mike Skinner and Teignmouth's finest have joined forces for this song entitled "Who Knows Who". The track was recorded a couple of months ago during a late night jam session featuring a blues riff the band have been using during live performances. Skinner came in and added vocals. Back in April last year Muse frontman Matt Bellamy revealed his desire to work with Skinner during an interview with 6 Music, saying he wanted to create "England’s answer to Rage Against The ... MORE
Was standing less than 24 hours ago in THAT crowd singing along with all 40,000+ of them. Just saying like....

...not bad.
That was far easier than I thought – yet – more difficult as well. I mean, I was sent my dossier to "kill" one of my fellow MOGgers. That’s not an easy thing to do. OR is it ?!? When I first saw the thematic challenge I had ahead of me – I knew it would be one of labyrinthine complexity, but as I got more & more deeply into exactly how I wanted it to go down – it just started to flow – slow and low, that was the tempo. Soon my target was in sight & the trigger pull... MORE
Some lyrics for those other MOGassins... ultimately - the master Assassin (& my bet's either on myself or Joxbridge - I MEAN, HAVE YOU SEEN HOW HANDSOME HIS AVATAR IS ?!?) will have to take the rest of you down - til then... May the Knights of Cydonia be with you on your quest... as they are with me !!! And how can we win,
When fools can be kings,
Don't waste your time,
Or time will waste you,
Ahh Ahh Ahh (x4)
(repeat, soprano)
No one's gonna take me alive,
The time has come to... MORE

I recently heard or read something from Mike Patton (shameless FNM reference) about how people always ask what his lyrics mean. To which he responds that his lyrics are about how the words sound as opposed to what they mean. Personally, I thought that was not only a relief (since there are a lot of FNM songs that dont necessarily make sense to me) but also really cool. Anyway, I am really really bad at figuring out what lyrics mean in a song. That may explain my tendency t... MORE
Muse performed 2 epic and beautiful shows to a sold-out Wembley Stadium in London last June. Soon fans around the world will be able to share the experience when the CD/DVD of the concert is released and a HD 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound screening of the film comes to theatres in the UK. Oddly enough, Muse were the first British band to play in the huge stadium. The release is titled H.A.A.R.P. and has a CD recording of the first night's concert and a DVD of the sec... MORE

We ended up with an extra pair of tickets to see Muse at the Nokia Theatre (in Grand Prairie, Texas on Sunday, September 16th), and we are trying to sell them through Ticketbastard's new TicketExchange program.
Here's a link to the page where the tickets have been posted. The seats are in section 101, row R (seats 5-6). There is a premium on them, but we feel they are fairly priced based on the other sets of tickets that have been posted there.
