"The Guns of Brixton" is a song by The Clash on their third album, London Calling, released in 1979. It was written and sung by bassist Paul Simonon, who grew up in Brixton, south London. So, story has it that Crammed Records is releasing a new 2006 edition of their compilation of Balkan-Gypsy band remixes. This year's album will be released on Nov. 7th and features bands Nouvelle Vague and Animal Collective. I can find NO more information about this. Last year's release: Electric Gypsyland
