I'm not sure why, but this song makes my eyes well up and my heart get heavy. I just feel like...everybody gets sad, but when you're young it seems like the end of the world.
What else makes people out there get all teary-eyed? I played Wilco's "Sky Blue Sky" for a friend the other night and she made me turn it off because she was sobbing.
Music does wonderful, powerful things to people. And that's why I love it.... MORE

Referring to "Heartbreaker" by Ryan Adams. His first and best solo album. God I could listen to it on repeat for hours. (And I do.) It's timeless. One of my favorite albums of all-time.
Thank you Caulyne for introducing me to it back in highschool during a trip one summer to Nashville.

I am in love with Ryan Adams. He is the twang in the heart of my music obsessions. Because of him I can appreciate country music and not just in an ironic way (most of the time). 2005 was a super-productive year for him and half-way through 2006 I am still trying to get a grasp of it all. I don't know who she was, but she must've torn him apart. (I'm, of course, assuming the cause of the surge in musical output was some little wayward girl who ripped him to pieces) .
