Badfish was fucking amazing. We got there just as the 2nd opening act was finishing up, which is not something I normally do (I like to get my money's worth, dammit), but we decided our time would be better spent getting some chemicals into our bodies before the show, so I guess we got there around 10PM. Apparently there are rumors flying around stating that Sublime will be re-uniting with a new singer to play Bamboozle 09. On the Bamboozle site, they have a decoding game to hint at the bands: some decoded are Gorilla Biscuits, NOFX, Britney Spears, and Sublime. Ahhh, the 70's. Saturday morning cartoons were never missed. Faithfully watched Scooby, Spiderman, Merry Melodies (i.e. Bugs and crew, and so many more.
In 1995 a disc was released titled "Saturday Morning Cartoons' Greatest Hits". So many great tracks. Here is a cool version of Hong Kong Phooey, done by Sublime,in their own unique ska-punk style.

Hmm, just noticed that the last post I did was made on April 29... so obviously I had to immediately play the song of the same name by Sublime. First and foremost!!! Sublime interview (w/eric, bud, and BRAD): This morning is the first time i have ever seen this sublime interview. "smoke everything in sight!" I have a deep appreciation and connection with sublime. They are tight.
