Ever hear a tune on the TV, maybe in a commercial, and think "ZOMGZ, I need that song!" Happened to me a little while ago. I'm sitting there watching The Office, when this commercial comes on "Zoinks!" I say to myself. "That's a catchy tune." And so, armed with little knowledge, I set out to find it. I figure Sundays are about getting ready for the boring Monday. I was listening to the Flaming Lips and started thinking about this picture took in New York. But it just happens to be Spider man instead of Superman...Dizzily.

Well, the madness of the holiday is in the past now. We can stow the Christmas Music for another year. How does one get recruited as a dancer for a Flaming Lips show? I really want to dress up like an alien and dance onstage! Any advice from experienced FLips dancers?

I've been listening to this album like mad lately and I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't come across it yet. At first I found it hard to listen to Flaming Lips but this is the one did it for me, now I'm a bit of a fan. Enjoy.

The Flaming Lips will be honored in their hometown of Oklahoma City after a street in the city's Bricktown district is named after the alt-psych band. I sing along with this song to my son.
