When everyone was dancing their little backsides off to MY PEOPLE I could not help but pause and think it is amazing how they could take a divisive subject like Australia's immigration policy and the Tampa farce and dress it up to the best dance track of 2007. I dare say not too many people would be aware of the songs meaning. But still, its a great nightclub anthem.... MORE
I had been aware that the Presets had a new album coming out, but not until I listened to it did I know how great of a new album they had. Their first album, Beams, finds the Melbourne duo thrashing through a series of dark lo-fi electro rave-ups and a few surprisingly melodic tunes, most notably "The Girl and the Sea".
