Tom Waits was awarded the key to the city of El Paso, Texas. Although the key was bestowed to the legendary bluesman man in a unceremonious way Waits was visibly moved, reports NME. I'm actually chuffed to get tickets to see Tom Waits. For various reasons I've been waiting 23 years for this, which is perhaps why I didn't bat an eyelid at TWO HUNDRED QUID FOR TWO TICKETS!!! And why exactly does the second ticket also cost a fiver to put in the same envelope as the first one? Rant over. I'm actually quite excited.
