The guys rustled up all the YouTube stars from the last year and threw them in the video. The Chocolate Rain guy, the "leave britney alone" guy, the clumsy ninja, the coke-and-mentos guys, and more. The only internet phenomenons that seem to be missing are "2 girls 1 cup" and pedobear.

Sure Weezer has been hootenanny-ing it up across the US, spreading music like they did during the days of the Orgon Trail and all, but now the band will finally head out on a tour like its 2008. The long haul is in support of their Red Album and starts September 23rd in Bean town. Angels & Airwaves and Tokyo Police Club are coming along for the ride giving you a bigger bang for your buck. I'm hoping Rivers Cuomo will be coming out all blinged out - gold chains, dunks a... MORE
After hinting at their tour itinerary in a clever YouTube video, Rivers Cuomo and Co. have revealed their Red Album tour dates. Weezer will be bringing along both Angels and Airwaves and Tokyo Police Club this time around, leaving their Hootenanny tour buddy (and "Pork & Beans" subject) Tay Zonday to mull how he’ll follow up "Chocolate Rain." The band kicks off their new tour with a September 23th show in Boston then circle the country before ending the tour a month later ... MORE
Weezer's new album is on the way. It's called Weezer, just like two of their other albums, but this time the cover is red. Check out the first single, "Port And Beans."
Weezer Weezer (The Red Album) 5 out of 10 If rock ‘n’ roll were high school, Weezer would have probably been that kid in fourth period who gets all the answers right, but gets stuffed into a locker as soon as the bell rings. Not this time, though. This year they're back, and they're running for prom king. With song titles like "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived" and lyrics that tout "I'm gonna be a star/ And people will crane necks/ To get a glimpse of me/ And see if ... MORE
Break-ups suck, everyone knows that. You run over what went wrong in your head a billion times over. You destroy their favorite t-shirt. You wait by the phone for hours, waiting for them to call. What happens though when it's your favorite band that does you in? Like an actual break-up, you run over in your head why that last album blew so much a billion times over. You take down all of their posters. You even sit by their old albums longingly wondering if it'll ever be th... MORE
Back in March Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo took to the Internet in hopes of recording a new tune. Cuomo's plan: create a song generated by fan input via YouTube video responses. Starting the project off Cuomo's shed some knowledge like there are "99 ways to write a song," (and the bitch ain't one?) and that he wanted the tune to be "fun, poppy and tough at the same time."

Crunchy guitars, rap lyrics, and hymns are just are a few of things that make this album great, but more than anything we’re just happy to have Weezer back. Weezer’s Red Album is a breathe of fresh air for the band that’s basically been missing for the past few years. Honest, silly, and generally very fun, the Red Album brings back the Weezer we’ve always loved.

Just beautiful. Rivers and the gang stepped up and made me forget that Make Believe was even released. As my good buddies officeglenn and Lamicus pointed out, Weezer released a Queen album. This song would fit in perfectly on A Night At The Opera, oh how Freddie would be proud. Glenn mentioned that he can't see college kids singing along to this like Bohemian Rhapsody. I have to respectfully disagree with that one. I can totally see kids of the male persuasion adopting t... MORE
Weezer Weezer (The Red Album) 8 out of 10 Me and Weezer, we go back a ways, back to to 1994 when I got their self-titled debut album in the mail, when they showed up on MTV, when their Beach Boys meets Nirvana pop rock took hold. I was running Addicted To Noise back then and we got the guys to come by photographer Jay Blakesberg’s San Francisco studio for a photo session and an interview with Rivers right as the follow up, Pinkerton, was about to come out. But though... MORE
