I just joined Mog after being a Last.fm user for almost 2 years now. I'm not sure if it's worth having both, or that MOG has any significant features that last.fm lacks. Well, prove me wrong Mog!
To commemorate the news (I know, and I apologize, I'm Canadian) that a new Weezer album is due to hit on June 17, I bring to you the single greatest song that they have ever recorded.
How stupid is it? For all I know,
You won't be true
Or maybe you just don't know what to do
Or maybe you're scared to say
"I'm falling for you."
And for the record, Maladroit is possibly the most underrated album of this decade.
That's me! He wrote that song about me. I'm a half Japanese girl. God damn me! I do it to him every time.
I recently discovered that Rivers Cuomo released an album or something like it called Alone: The Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo, sound good its along the lines of a good old classic rock & roll album meets a dynamic country twist. Anyway, what does Weezer have to do with anything 24-related? Check out the video and see. I love the whole message of th... MORE
I'd never say that Matt Sharp is some musical genius; I don't really like The Rentals, but without him, Weezer just seems to suck more and more. It's funny how people agree on this; it came up in a topic on a social message board when Beverly Hills was a big single, and I recently saw someone's facebook profile that said their favorite music includes "Weezer (the first two albums only)".
Anyway, this is my first mog entry so... Hi. Feel free to talk to me!
ok, this is sort of a response to Eshep's Post about artists that randomly decide to suck. playing god: deciding when artists’ works cease existing in your personal world (I hope that link worked, i am decidedly suck at linkin') anyway, as a sort of half-assed, semi-related observation: have you ever noticed that a lot of bands tend to have two good albums and then tend to release poo? does anyone else even think that happens? here is a list of bands that i can think...
